With REACT, the City of Zurich's Violence Prevention Centre has developed an innovative and fun way to train conflict skills 1:1 in virtual space. Young people can use it to realistically test different behaviour patterns. We have created the accompanying teaching materials: Guidelines, exercises and eye-catching roll-ups are used by teachers and specialists to organise lessons.

Strengthen conflict skills

In virtual reality, young people deal with conflict dynamics and work together to develop options for action that can contribute to de-escalation and support for those affected.

What are the consequences?

During a conflict situation, perpetrators of violence often forget the consequences of their actions. They use violence as an outlet or in an exceptional psychological situation. A central aspect of REACT is experiencing the consequences of different roles.
